Question:
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Will my Fajr Salah (Fard) be accepted if I finish praying just before the sunrise time? (Like maybe 30 seconds before)
For example the sunrise time is given at 5:51am. When I finished my Salah and made Salaam, I instantly checked the time and it was 5:50am. Will this Salah be valid? Will I have to repeat my Salah?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Once Fajr Salaah was completed before sunrise began, Salaah will be valid. However, it is Makrooh (disliked) to delay Fajr until ten to fifteen minutes before sunrise. One should make an effort to complete Fajr Salaah before such time. The Fajr Salaah should be prayed in such a time where there is ample time to pray the Salaah with the Sunnah Qiraat (recitation) and repeat the Salaah if it becomes necessary to do so.
