I have a mattress which is 12 inches thick, my child has once urinated a bit on the mattress, now the way to purify is to wash and dry and repeat that 3 times, but because the mattress is so thick, the water has already reached inside, now to wash inside the mattress is impossible, so what is the procedure in purifying such a mattress?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The method of purifying the mattress is you pour some water over the impure area, then wipe that area thoroughly with a sponge or cloth. A small amount of soap or detergent can be used. This should be done three times, washing the cloth or sponge after wiping each time. The mattress will then be regarded as clean.
It is not necessary to completely wash and soak a thick mattress 3 times.
