assalam.o.alaikum sir is it permissible in islam to read quran while sitting on bed?
Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible to read the Quraan while sitting on a bed. In doing so, one should sit upright when reading from the Mushaf, and place it on something elevated, along with observing the other Aadaab (etiquettes) of reciting the Quraan as much as possible.
