Unfortunately, I find that I will only be able to finish it once. When I make a promise to Allah, I say \u201cI promise to do so and so if I get this.\u201d What is the ruling on this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Thank you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>As-sal\u0101mu \u2018alaykum wa-rahmatull\u0101hi wa-barak\u0101tuh.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you made the statement, \u201cI promise to do so and so if I get this\u201d, it will constitute a <em>Nazar-e-<\/em> <em>Mutlaq<\/em> (general vow). All efforts must be made to fulfil this promise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Therefore, you should try your best to complete the recitation of The Quran twice as you promised. If you unable to do so, Tawbah and Istigfaar should be made and seek forgiveness from Allah. However, no Kaff\u0101rah (expiation) is necessary for the promise you made.<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
