How to distribute the inheritance of:<\/span><\/p>\n

1- A man who dies and leaves behind a father, mother, wife and a son?<\/span><\/p>\n

2- A woman who dies and leaves behind a father, mother, husband and a son?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As-sal\u0101mu \u2018alaykum wa-rahmatull\u0101hi wa-barak\u0101tuh.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

According to the Sharia Laws of Inheritance and Succession, distribution of\u00a0an estate will only commence after settling of funeral & burial expenses, debts (including legal\u00a0costs) and bequests (if any) made to non-heirs – which will not exceed\u00a0one-third (\u2153) of the estate that remains after settling of debts and funeral expenses. Thereafter, all assets form part of the Net Estate and will be distributed as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

1<\/strong>– In the first scenario where a deceased man leaves behind a father, mother, wife and a son, the estate will be apportioned into 24 parts to be distributed as mentioned below:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
