Assalamu Alaikum Respected Scholars and Muftis

Does taking a hot shower where light steam comes out break the fast?

I know that breathing heavy steam breaks the fast but there are 2 important things in this case: 1) The steam is light and not heavy, meaning it is not easily visible unless some effort is made (for example when observing a white\/black surface closely) and 2) I did not intentionally take light steam while I was taking a shower

Is the fast valid in this situation?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a fasting person unintentionally inhales steam (or anything with a perceptible body) be it in a hot shower or otherwise, the fast will remain intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, in light of the information mentioned in the query, the fast was not<\/strong> affected by taking the hot shower[i]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
