Now we wish to have our ears pierced, but we cannot find a single lady to do it for us. In this situation, can we get our ears pierced by a male?<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A woman\u2019s ears are part of her Awrah (that part of the body that should be covered from non-Mahram men and non-Muslim women). Piercing the ears for women is something that is done for beautification and adornment. It is not a Shar\u2019ee (Islamic) need for which the allowance may be given for a Baaligh woman to expose her ears in front of a non-Marham man<a href=\"#_edn1\" id=\"_ednref1\"><sup>[i]<\/sup><\/a>. Therefore, we recommend the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The women should stay without their ears pierced until they can find a professional woman who can do it for them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One of the women can learn how to pierce the ears, so that she can do it for the others.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Mahram of each woman can learn how to pierce the ears and do it for her.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The normal piercing of the ear lobes is very easy to learn and it can be done at home. In addition, ear piercing home kits are inexpensive and can be purchased from any reliable store or online retailer.
