 <\/strong>Sir My question is<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. if a person only uses  clods or tissue paper or some other material for wiping private parts after urination. Would it be obligatory for him to wash it with water when he wants to perform wadu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. if a person urinates and despite all efforts, a few (1 or 2 ) drops of urine ooze out after washing or using tissue paper or a clod, is it obligatory upon him to wash the private parts at wadu?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir I have used the word obligatory. please clarify whether it is obligatory and whether it is preferable. because sometimes during wadu we are at such places where it is not possible or desirable to wash ones private parts for performing wadu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aspect of Istinjaa (cleansing after relieving oneself) is indeed a very important issue. A person should exercise extreme precaution in matters related to this. It is stated in a Hadith;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Prophet (Sallallahu Alahi Wa Sallam) once passed by two graves and said, “These two persons are being tortured not for a major sin (to avoid). One of them never saved himself from being soiled with his urine, while the other used to engage in gossiping Bukhari, Hadith 215)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Istinjaa (to cleanse) the private parts is Sunnah Muakkadah. A person can
suffice on wiping with tissue paper as long as the impurities does not spread beyond the private parts.[1]<\/a> In that case it, if it spreads it would be compulsory to use water[2]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After relieving yourself, you should conduct \u201cIstibraa<\/em>.\u201d That is, ensure all the urine drops are removed, for example, gently squeeze the private part from below or\/and cough or\/and bend towards the right or the left. After all this, if need be, wash your private area and stand up for a short while and sit again and repeat the Istibraa procedure as explained above. It is also advisable to sprinkle water around the private parts and the undergarments if one experiences waswasah (whispers from shaitaan) .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After observing this procedure, there is no need to wash the private parts thereafter.[3]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
