Is it permissible?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awrah of a Muslim woman in front of a non Muslim woman is like that of a non-Mahram man, i.e. the whole body must be covered besides the hands, face and the feet. It is permissible for a Muslim female to look at another Muslim female\u2019s body, except the area from the navel to the knees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, it is not permissible to uncover the pubic region to another woman for the purpose of waxing. Uncovering this area is only permissible in necessity, e.g. for medical procedures. Even though a person may have sensitive skin, waxing would not be regarded as a necessity to permit exposing this area. One may consider the following possible solutions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Try self-waxing or ask one\u2019s husband do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Explore the various alternatives on the market, some of which are particularly formulated for sensitive skin.
