Question:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have sensitive ear holes (for earrings) that tend to almost close up often. Getting a wet earring (for ghusl) inside my ears not only hurts but made it bleed. I am unsure if water can even flow through the hole even if I try pulling it or moving it around with an earring (underneath the flowing water in shower) as the ear hole is very small. It’s small enough that the blood does not flow out but rather stay inside the hole and I can only check a small portion of the inside if I push hard enough with tissue (push out small about of blood). 1. How would I know if it stopped bleeding? 2. How will I purify it – with a wet (from a flowing source) earring or underneath shower while moving the earring? What does it mean to wash the piercing – must water FLOW through it or can you just rub with a wet earring?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As long as blood is not visible on the surface of the piercing, you may proceed to making Ghusl  In Sha Allah.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The general rule is earrings which fit tightly in the hole of the piercing should be slighted shaken during Ghusl<\/em> to ensure that the water enters the hole. It should not she shaken so forcefully that would cause it to bleed.  If she is doubtful about water reaching the piercing during Ghusl<\/em> while the earrings are on, then she can remove them and slightly massage the area of the piercing to ensure that the water reaches inside the piercing. This rule of massaging the piercing will also apply when there are piercings and earrings are not worn. There is no need to insert anything into the piercing to ensure that water enters it<\/strong>[i]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
