Also is brother and sister by same mother but different father mahram ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A brother or sister who shares a parent with you, either the same father and different mother or different father but same mother is one\u2019s half sibling and Mahram. (Mahram is a person whom one is never permitted to marry because of their close blood relationship, and the rules of Hijaab will not apply).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note this does not apply for a stepbrother or stepsister, where both blood parents are different.
