Question:<\/strong><\/p>\n

As-salaamu\u00a0‘alaykum.<\/p>\n

I had a few Questions:<\/p>\n

1) When praying Taraweeh, while making the intention do you have to make\u00a0intention\u00a0that this is the 1and 2\u00a0rakat\u00a0then this is my 3and 4\u00a0rakat, or is making\u00a0general\u00a0intention that\u00a0im\u00a0praying 2\u00a0rakat\u00a0taraweeh\u00a0enough?<\/p>\n

2) can a\u00a0pesron\u00a0pray\u00a0taraweeh\u00a0after\u00a0witr?<\/p>\n

3) if a person is following the imam and\u00a0missess\u00a0out like 6\u00a0rakats\u00a0or how many ever, now should he make those up then join the imam or just make those up after\u00a0witr?<\/p>\n

4) people say that the Quran has a right to be read by everyone\u00a0atleast\u00a0twice, is this right, if so can you please provide the hadith for it?<\/p>\n

Answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As-sal\u0101mu \u2018alaykum wa-rahmatull\u0101hi wa-barak\u0101tuh.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1- It is sufficient to make a general intention for two rakaats taraweeh salaah at the beginning of each set.<\/p>\n

2- It is permissible to pray Taraweeh salaah after Witr, however it is preferable to offer Witr after the Taraweeh.<\/p>\n

3- If a person missed a number of Rakaats of Taraweeh, he should join in behind the Imaam, thereafter complete the missed Rakaats after the witr Salaah. He should offer the Witr in congregation.<\/p>\n

4- Regarding the statement you mentioned in your inquiry, it is narrated by Al-Hasan bin Zayd (may Allah have mercy on him) that Imam Abu Hanifah (may Allah have mercy on him) stated: \u201cWhoever reads the Quran (completing it) twice per year then verily he fulfilled its right [haqq]<\/em> because the Prophet (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) recited the Quran to Jibril (alayhi al-salam) twice in the year He (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) passed away in.\u201d[1]<\/a><\/p>\n
