Question:<\/strong><\/p>\n Is it necessary to make an intention when a person wants to fast.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/p>\n As-sal\u0101mu \u2018alaykum wa-rahmatull\u0101hi wa-barak\u0101tuh.<\/strong><\/p>\n Making the intention to fast is necessary.
