Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allah has promised the best [reward]. And Allah , with what you do, is Acquainted.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2009Quran, sura 57 (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Al-Hadid\"><em>Al-Hadid<\/em><\/a>), ayah 10<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hazrat, I wanted to confirm when Allah says &#8220;promised&#8221; them the best reward means even the Sahaba who accepted Islam after the Conquest of Makkah are promised Jannah?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u0628\u0633\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u062d\u0645\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u062d\u064a\u0645<\/p>\n<p>Allah \ufdfb mentions in the verse you\u2019ve quoted;<\/p>\n<p>\u0648 \u0643\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0627 \u0648\u064e\u0639\u064e\u062f\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0652\u062d\u064f\u0633\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0649<\/p>\n<p><em>And every one of them (i.e. the Sahabah, <\/em><em>may Allah<\/em><em>\ufdfb<\/em><em> be pleased with them<\/em><em>), Allah <\/em><em>\ufdfb<\/em><em> has promised the best [reward].<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The word al-Husna, translated as the best, refers to Jannah. Allah \ufdfb has promised Jannah to all those who accepted Islam, fought and spent in His \ufdfb way before the conquest of Makkah as well as all those who accepted Islam, fought and spent in His \ufdfb way after the conquest of Makkah.<\/p>\n<p>However, as for the former, their ranks in Jannah are far higher and superior than the latter. Allah \ufdfb mentions earlier in the verse;<\/p>\n<p>\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u0633\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0648\u0650\u064a \u0645\u0650\u0646\u0643\u064f\u0645 \u0645\u0651\u064e\u0646\u0652 \u0623\u064e\u0646\u0641\u064e\u0642\u064e \u0645\u0650\u0646 \u0642\u064e\u0628\u0652\u0644\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0641\u064e\u062a\u0652\u062d\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0642\u064e\u0627\u062a\u064e\u0644\u064e \u06da \u0623\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064e\u0670\u0626\u0650\u0643\u064e \u0623\u064e\u0639\u0652\u0638\u064e\u0645\u064f \u062f\u064e\u0631\u064e\u062c\u064e\u0629\u064b \u0645\u0651\u0650\u0646\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e \u0623\u064e\u0646\u0641\u064e\u0642\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0645\u0650\u0646 \u0628\u064e\u0639\u0652\u062f\u064f \u0648\u064e\u0642\u064e\u0627\u062a\u064e\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u06da<\/p>\n<p><em>Those of you who spent and fought in the Cause of Allah before the victory (conquest of Makkah), shall receive higher ranks of honor than the others who spent and fought thereafter.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Allah \ufdfb describes the former as gaining greater rewards\/ranks (\u0623\u0639\u0638\u0645 \u062f\u0631\u062c\u0629) than the latter. The wording used is <em>ism at-tafdheel<\/em> i.e. the comparative degree. This wording is normally used for comparison between two things sharing the same characteristic expect that one possesses that characteristic to a greater degree than the other. Allah <\/em><em>\ufdfb<\/em><em> has preferred in grades and ranks, those who strive hard and fight with their wealth and their lives above those who sit (at home). Unto each, Allah <\/em><em>\ufdfb<\/em><em> has promised the best [Jannah], but Allah <\/em><em>\ufdfb<\/em><em> has preferred, by great rewards, those who strive hard and fight (above those who sit at home).
