Salaam is left out and ruling on kajal

Question:

Assalamoalikum

My first question is that I have not done both salaam at the end of salaat till 2 to 3 years.because I did not know about wajib that it is wajib to say assalamoalaikum warehmatullah on both sides at the end of salaah.

I had just finished me salaat only by saying one salaam at one side and sometimes I also said one side assalamoalaikum warehmatullah and on the other side just assalamoalaikum

So do I have to repeat my salaahs of two to three years?

My second question is that does kajal invalidates wuzu? If kajal comes out of eye or it applied on the outer line of eye? As I have performed my salaat by applying kajal on sometimes outer and inner line of eye.so do I have to repeat those salaah of 3 to 4 years??

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

1) Your Salah is complete. You do not have to repeat your Salah. However in future say(assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah)both times, when turning the face to the right and to the left.^1,2

2) If Kajal(kohl) comes out of one’s eye it does not invalidate wudhu.

However if one applies Kajal before making the wudhu, ensure the Kajal or eyeliner is not waterproof. In that case, the wudhu will be invalid.³

2( ثم يسلم عن يمينه و يساره ) حتى يرى بياض خده ولو عكس سلم عن يمينه فقط ولو تلقاء وجهه سلم عن يساره أخرى ولو نسي اليسار أتى به ما لم يستدبر القبلة في الأصح وتنقطع به التحرمة بتسليمة واحدة برهان وقد مر وفي التاترخانية ما شرع في الصلاة مثنى فللواحد حكم المثنى فيحصل التحليل بسلام واحد كما يحصل بالمثنى )رد المحتار 1/524))

3) ( أو كان فيه ) يعني المحل المفروض غسله ( ما ) أي شيء ( يمنع الماء ) أن يصل إلى الجسد ( كعجين ) وشمع ورمص بخارج العين بتغميضها ( وجب ) أي افترض ( غسل ما تحته بعد إزالته المانع ( ولا يمنع الدرن ) أي وسخ الأظفار(مراقي الفلاح 35/1)
